Every year our family spend summer vacation at my auntie’s residence. They live in Digos City five hours travel from our place. Even though it’s far but I love to spend time with my cousins and meet new friends there. Like me they are also male so we have same hobbies and games to play with. The location is near the beach that’s why I love to be there every summer. I can refresh, relax my mind and enjoy swimming with new friends and cousins. Last year we rent a van when we had family reunion and at the same time spent summer vacation for two weeks.

My auntie lynlyn, uncle Bong, cousins Yari, Kaila and Adi were there also. That time they live from another city and traveled one day to reach the venue. It was a nice reunion all my cousins were there and we played together. Our first adventure happened at Aplaya beach Resort. We brought roast pig “we called it lechon baboy in our dialect”, sinugbang isda, kinilaw, spaghetti, ice cream, cake, fruits such as watermelon, mango, lanzones, durian and other Filipino delicacies.

On the next day we went to Sun Valley Swimming Pool an inland resort at Digos City. We stayed overnight on the said resort. The most exciting activities was the time that we went shopping. I bought a pair of shoes, t-shirts, pants, notebooks, pen, new bag for the next school year and many more.
