Happy Halloween

October 31st, 2009 by admin

In the Philippines November 1 and 2 is the busiest day for all Filipinos because this is the day they give respect to their loved ones who passed away. Everyone will visit the cemetery clean tomb, offer prayers, flowers, and even foods. For others it’s the time to get together, meets their relatives and friends and visit places to relax and recollect. We celebrate Halloween and we called it all souls day. We will go to cemetery to visit our loved ones. Before when my mom was here we usually visit our grandfather in Davao del Sur and after that we go shopping to Davao City before we returned home. To all my friends happy Halloween or happy all souls day to all.

Happy Halloween Everyone!

Hi! Good day to all the parents out there. I would like to share few tips on how to keep your children safe and enjoy this coming Halloween. First and for most, parents or responsible adult should always take young children on their neighborhood rounds. Make sure that your children wear costumes that are bright and reflective, short enough to prevent tripping. Just purchase flame resistant costumes, wigs and accessories. It is best advisable for the children not to wear masks. You can paint your face for safer alternative. Make sure that emergency identification is secured discreetly within your child’s Halloween costumes. Let the children carry flashlights with new batteries. Check always around your home for hazards. If possible avoid using candles in pumpkins and consider using battery powered lanterns. Make sure to sort and check treats to closely examine and throw away unwrapped, spoiled or suspicious items and treats that can cause choking are given only to children of appropriate age. I hope this tips can help the parents to keep their children safe and happy while enjoying the Halloween celebration.

Family Day

Hi! Good morning. How are you there? I hope everyone is fine and happy. Every summer the Linamar Company celebrates family day during month of August. All the workers from Linamar Company with family will celebrate family day at Guelph Lake which is located on the northeast part of the city of Guelph. You travel north on highway 6 out of Guelph then turn to the right into conservation road then follow the signs. I was there last year but I’m not sure if they still have family day this year. We all know that many companies are suffered from economic downturn.

Well, I just hope that they still have family day activities. Last year there were lots of rides for children to have fun and not only for children but also for the parents who accompanied their kids to rides. There were lots of foods served on the table. Last year we’re late; we went there in the afternoon but still fine we eat some fruits, bread and drinks. It’s a little bit rainy that time and my niece failed to rides some of the rides. Well, it’s fine she’s still little that time and she can enjoy rides soon. The party started in the morning and ended at five in the afternoon.
