Spring time is now fast approaching. I can’t wait to see the beautiful flowers of tulips in our garden. Every flower has distinct meanings and symbolism. Red tulip is for perfect love and to show affection. Yellow tulips symbolizing cheerful thoughts while white conveying forgiveness. They say that purple representing royalty. According to them tulip bouquet represents love, elegance and grace. Tulips mostly bloom during early to late spring, depending on the climate in which they are planted. There are many different colors of tulips such as red, yellow, orange, purple, white, black and many more. They will continue to bloom annually for few years. I took these tulips of mine last spring time at the park when I was there together with my friends.

It’s my friend Sonia who gave these beautiful roses during my birthday last year. Its yellow orange color and I love it. Sonia is one of my best friends when I was in college until I got married. During my first year in teaching we were assigned in a far flung barangay. We shared in times of hardship and sacrifices. As of now she is happily married to a nice man and lives to the comfortable place near our family.

It was Saturday afternoon when the Filipino-Canadian was invited to attend seminar at Fairfield Inn and Suits. I asked my sister to baby sit the kids and I will attend the said seminar. We listened to the lectures and advices from Dr. Mendoza and company about on how to avoid critical illness such as cancer, heart attack, hypertension, stroke and many more. Also the Sun Life Financial groups were there to explain their critical illness insurance. The seminar started at one o’clock and finished at five o’clock in the afternoon.

Everyone knows that red roses are for someone you love. It’s the most well known color of roses through out the world because it symbolizes love, passion and romantic relationship. There are lots of red roses from flower shops, stores and everywhere during Valentines Day. Lovers and couples show their love by giving red roses, chocolates and cards. According to them when you say I love you with three red roses it stands for respect, love, care and courage.

Last Saturday night we experienced a heavy snow storm. The climate so tremendous colds chilled to my bones. Sunday morning my son in law shovel the snow to clear the driveway. We helped him and we enjoyed so much. We had fun while taking pictures around despite of the cold. We wore a winter clothes to survive the cold temperature outside. My niece was so happy and she loves tasting the snow. We laugh out loud and she took pictures of me. She run and run and hiding from me. We played and lay down the snow. It’s amazing and were both happy. My sis and my brother in law were serious in shoveling the snow. My niece and me just playing around and took pictures.

Welcome 2010!

At Last 2009 is over and we are now facing the most challenging year of 2010. I wish that God will shower all His blessings to all of us this year 2010.

By the way, we celebrated our new year’s eve at Fely’s residence. It’s a new year get together with Young’s family, Campbell’s family, Mary’s family, our family and of course our host no other than Fely’s family. We’re so happy to welcome the year 2009. We enjoy eating together, talking, laughing and watching the count down in the television.

Well, we do not know what will happen this year but as of now we all know that we are suffering from economic crises. I just hope that our world can recover this economic situation. I hope that all the people from all over the world can feel the love, peace and unity for this year 2010.

For myself, I have many wishes, dreams and lots of New Year resolution to fulfill this year. I hope that I can make or fulfill my resolution even just one. One of my New Year resolutions is to loss weight. I know it is very hard for me to do but I try this year. I need more exercise, go walking and eat less. That is my focus for the year 2010. Then secondly, I need to save more money and I promise to myself not to buy unimportant things. And above all, may all of us have good health, peace of mind and happiness.
